DAKOTA COUNTY — A Shoreview man pleaded guilty to a car crash that killed an Inver Grove Heights girl last October.
Anthony Klecker, 29, had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit Oct. 28 when he hit a concrete median along I-494, pushing the boulder into oncoming traffic.
Neither 16-year old Deanna Casey nor a semi-truck driver following her were unable to stop in time. The semitruck hit Casey’s car and she died on the scene.
In Dakota County Court Feb. 14, Klecker pleaded guilty to one count of criminal vehicular homicide. He faces up to four years in prison.
